This Acceptable Use Policy explains how customers may use Screpy without harming the service, other users, or third parties.

Authorized use

You may use Screpy only for lawful business purposes and only for websites, domains, URLs, keywords, reports, and data that you own, manage, or are authorized to monitor.

You are responsible for your users, workspace settings, crawl targets, reports, exports, and integrations.

Prohibited activity

You may not use Screpy to break the law, violate third-party rights, disrupt systems, evade limits, or harm the availability, integrity, or security of Screpy or third-party services.

  • Scanning, crawling, testing, or monitoring websites without authorization.
  • Attempting to bypass rate limits, authentication, security controls, or usage restrictions.
  • Uploading malware, harmful code, abusive content, illegal content, or data you do not have rights to use.
  • Using the service for spam, phishing, credential harvesting, surveillance, harassment, or deceptive practices.
  • Reselling, sublicensing, scraping, reverse engineering, or benchmarking the service without permission.
  • Interfering with service availability or other customers through excessive, abusive, or automated use.

Crawling and monitoring conduct

Screpy is designed for legitimate SEO audits, website crawling, uptime monitoring, performance review, rank tracking, and reporting workflows.

Customers should choose crawl and monitoring settings that are reasonable for the target site and should stop or reduce activity if a site owner objects or a system appears affected.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may limit, suspend, or terminate access when activity appears harmful, unlawful, unauthorized, or inconsistent with this policy.

We may also remove content, throttle usage, block targets, or contact account owners when needed to protect Screpy, customers, or third parties.

To report suspected abuse, contact hello@screpy.com with the account, domain, URL, timestamp, and details needed to review the issue.
