Team members
Add, review, export, and remove Screpy workspace members.
Team members lets you collaborate without sharing one account. Use individual access so that work, integrations, and report responsibilities remain understandable over time. The header shows member usage against the account allowance, plus member and owner counts for the current workspace.
Invite the right person for the job
Before adding someone, decide what they need to do: review SEO findings, prepare reports, manage a project, or administer the workspace. Give access only to the relevant projects and keep ownership clear. A person who only needs a report does not necessarily need the same access as the person who manages crawl settings or connected apps.
Select Add member, then enter the person’s name and email. For an existing Screpy user, add the email with the intended role. For a new user, set a password as requested by the form. Choose Member for normal collaboration or Owner only when the person must administer the workspace.
Use a work email that remains under the recipient's control. Ask the recipient to sign in with their own account rather than sharing an owner login. This improves security and gives you a clear path to remove access when a contract, campaign, or employment period ends. Export the member table as CSV or Excel when you need an access review outside Screpy.
Review access regularly
Review team membership after role changes and before sharing sensitive client data. The table shows each member, role, and join date. Use Remove for people who no longer need access, and transfer project responsibility deliberately rather than leaving inactive owners behind. Removing a person changes workspace access; also review API keys and OAuth connections separately, because they may power independent external integrations.
Common questions
Why can a teammate not see a project?
Check that they joined the correct workspace and that their role is appropriate for the task. Do not work around this by sharing an owner password.
Should clients be added as teammates?
Add them only when live product access is useful and appropriate. A report or exported result can be the safer option when they only need a review.
