Send Link Building Outreach Emails with Screpy
Find link building outreach prospects, compose reusable templates, prevent duplicate sends, and queue personalized outreach emails in Screpy.
Link Building Outreach helps project members find relevant pages, review available contact emails, and send a separate rich-text message to each selected recipient.
Configure project email first
The project owner must add and test the project's SMTP settings before anyone can send outreach email. In Project Settings → SMTP, enter the host, port, security method, username, password, sender name, and sender email, then select Save and test.
Other project members can use outreach after SMTP is ready, but only the project owner can change those mail settings. See project settings for the complete setup.
Find and analyze prospects
Open Link Building → Outreach. Enter a search query, country, and language, then start the search.
Each search processes up to ten search-result pages. Screpy analyzes the discovered pages for link and contact details during the run, so column data does not wait for you to scroll through the table.
Review relevance before selecting a page. A discovered email address is a contact lead, not proof that the recipient welcomes a pitch.
Select recipients
Use the row checkboxes to select prospects, then choose Send mail. Selection stays available while you move through the loaded result pages.
Selected pages without a ready email are skipped. The send button shows the number of unique recipients that are ready to be queued. A single batch can contain up to 500 unique recipients.
Write or reuse a message
Enter a subject and compose the message with simple rich-text formatting. You can add emphasis, lists, links, and images from a public image URL. Keep the message specific to the selected prospects and explain why the proposed resource is relevant.
To reuse the copy later, give it a name and save it as a project template. You can select a saved template, update it, save a variation as a new template, or delete a template without changing messages that were already queued.
Personalize every outreach email
Use the Variables menu in the subject or message editor to insert recipient-specific values. Screpy supports {{recipient_email}}, {{page_url}}, {{page_domain}}, {{project_domain}}, and {{sender_name}}. These values come from the selected result, project, and configured sender, so they are available for every queued recipient.
Open Advanced settings to preview the first selected recipient with resolved values. Screpy then resolves each variable separately for every recipient before delivery. Unsupported or incomplete variables block the send request, so raw variable text such as {{variable}} is never sent to a recipient.
Prevent duplicate outreach emails
Open Advanced settings at the bottom of the send form to control repeat outreach. Skip previously contacted recipients is enabled by default.
When enabled, Screpy does not queue an address that already has a successfully sent outreach email in the same project. Failed, queued, and processing deliveries remain eligible. If every selected recipient has already received an outreach email, no new batch is queued.
Queue outreach emails
Review the recipient count, subject, and message, then choose Queue emails. Screpy accepts one separate email for each unique recipient and confirms how many were queued.
Queued is not the same as delivered
A queued message has been accepted for sending. It does not confirm inbox delivery, a reply, or a backlink placement.
Keep outreach focused
- Select only sites where the message has a clear editorial fit.
- Personalize the subject and body instead of sending a generic volume pitch.
- Use a sender identity that recipients can recognize and reply to.
- Respect applicable email rules and remove contacts that should not receive further messages.
