AI Visibility

Monitor brand mentions, citations, sources, prompts, and competitor share of voice across supported AI platforms.

Screpy AI Visibility monitors a selected set of prompts across supported AI platforms. Use it to review brand mentions, answer position, sentiment, citations, source domains, competitor visibility, and share of voice. It is a sampled monitoring workflow for the prompts you choose, not a record of every private AI conversation.

Before you start

Open the Screpy project that represents the brand you want to monitor. Confirm that the project brand and competitors are correct before interpreting mention or share-of-voice results. AI provider access and prompt allowances depend on the current plan and project configuration.

Keep the first prompt set focused. Start with questions tied to the product category, important use cases, commercial comparisons, and the problems customers ask before choosing a solution. A smaller consistent set is easier to interpret than a large collection of unrelated questions.

Select AI platforms and market

Choose the AI providers available to the project. Screpy supports selectable platforms including OpenAI, Gemini, and Perplexity, while additional supported providers can depend on the current plan.

Every prompt includes a country and language. Use the market your customers actually search from, and keep those settings stable when comparing results over time. A prompt analyzed with a different country or language is a different monitoring context and should not be treated as a direct continuation of the original result.

Add or generate prompts

Open Prompts and select Add prompt. Enter the question, country, and language, then save it to the monitored set.

Use Suggest when you need prompt ideas. Review the suggestions before adding them, select only the relevant questions, and avoid adding near-duplicates that would overweight one topic. Suggestions are starting points; they do not replace customer research, sales questions, Search Console data, or keyword research.

The Prompts table shows the configured market, visibility, sentiment, citation count, answer count, and creation date. Open a prompt when you need to review its stored answers and citations instead of relying only on the summary row.

Read the Overview metrics

The Overview combines the latest AI Visibility signals for the project:

MetricWhat it shows
AI VisibilityThe percentage of completed analyzed answers that mention the project brand for the selected platform and date.
Share of VoiceThe project brand's relative presence beside tracked competitors in the monitored answer set.
MentionsStored brand detections across analyzed answers.
CitationsCited URLs recorded from analyzed answers when citations are available.
Competitor RankingHow tracked brands compare within the selected monitoring view.
Top SourcesDomains receiving citations across the monitored prompts and providers.

For a selected platform and date, Screpy calculates AI Visibility as brand-mentioning analyzed answers divided by completed analyzed answers, multiplied by 100. Keep the selected platform, date range, market, and prompt set consistent when comparing movement.

Investigate mentions and answers

Open Mentions to review the prompt, platform, detected brands, answer position, sentiment score, citation count, and analysis time. Use search, filters, and sorting to narrow the table before drawing a conclusion.

Open the answer detail to read the stored response behind a mention. Position and sentiment are supporting signals: review the surrounding answer language before deciding whether the appearance is prominent, accurate, favorable, or useful.

Review citations and source domains

Open a mention or prompt citation view to inspect the URLs cited by the analyzed answer. A citation confirms that the URL appeared in that stored answer; it does not prove that the source will be cited for every user or every future generation.

Use Sources to group citation activity by domain. The table reports citation count, prompt count, providers, source share, and first- and last-cited dates. Open a source to review the citations and prompts behind its totals. This helps separate a broadly recurring source from a domain cited for only one question.

Compare competitors and share of voice

Competitor Ranking and Share of Voice use the tracked project brand, selected competitors, and monitored answer set. Compare the same prompt set over time and investigate the answers behind a change before attributing it to one content update or campaign.

AI visibility and Google rankings are different measurements. Use Rank Tracker for configured Google keyword positions and Search Console for first-party Google impressions, clicks, queries, and pages.

Export prompt, mention, and source data

Prompt, mention, and source tables can be exported as CSV or Excel files. Apply the relevant filters before exporting when the review is limited to one platform, market, prompt group, competitor, or reporting period. Keep the filter and date context with the exported file so later comparisons use the same scope.

Interpret sampled AI results safely

Generated answers can vary by platform behavior, time, market, available sources, and the wording of the prompt. Use repeated analyses and a stable prompt set to identify trends. Do not treat one missing mention as permanent disappearance or one citation as guaranteed coverage.

AI Visibility does not measure crawler access. AI and Bot Traffic reports verified crawler requests to website URLs, while AI Visibility analyzes selected prompts for mentions, citations, sources, and competitor presence. A crawler request does not prove that content appeared in an answer.

Keep the monitoring context consistent

Record material changes to prompts, markets, competitors, product positioning, and important content. These changes can affect the monitored set and should be considered before comparing two reporting periods.
